Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Holly Bowers McPartlin on August 2, 2024:

Anthony Curcio was my mother's father. My mother's name was Marjorie Eugene Curcio. She was 3 years old when her father died in that airplane crash. Her mother died very soon after leaving her an orphan. There was a custody battle for her, it was between Tony's parents in New York and her grandmother here in Coronado. Her grandmother won so she was raised here in Coronado as a ward of the state. I have the information about how Tony's wife died so soon after his death. I was always told that she died of a broken heart. I found out the real cause of her death when I became an adult. Like my grandfather I was a gymnast also. I have all of his West Point yearbooks, and cherish the photos of him. Feel free to call me if you would like the whole story about how Tony's wife died. It's tragic. God Bless all of Tony's family members.
