I didn't know Mike Modeen personally as a cadet, nor did I attend our 55th Reunion, which, from the photos taken, indicated he was having the "time of his life" at the event,just a month prior to his passing. Even though we didn't "know" each other, we all have that special bond that binds us together as graduates and alumni of a very special institution and experience. Glen Farraro, who did yeoman's work in communicating the details of Mike's final memorial, and I shared this sentiment recently. May God bless and comfort the Modeen family as they continue to cope with the grief of his loss. |
