Be Thou At Peace

| Bob, when I think of a selfless, ideal leader, you always came to mind, and all of us who had the real pleasure and privilege to know you will remember you as a true piece of the glue that holds groups together. In your case, you "glued" our class together in so many ways -- no one has done more. Golf, lacrosse, min-reunions, visits with classmates, encouragement, "committee" decisions we questioned and loved. As one of many who roomed with you on outings, I learned first hand how much effort you and Faye put into helping so many people. Others have written such stirring memories....I will only add one more. John 15:13, which describes you so well. Rest in peace, my friend, and thanks to you and Faye. |
