| As we get older, we tend to think back on our younger days so I did a search on the internet for my first CO outside of training. I was an 11B troop under Captain Arrington when I was elevated to the position of company clerk. I must state out of the officers I met during my 3 year tour of duty with mainly the 82nd Abn, Captain Arrington was the finest one. I can tell you as his Article 15 clerk that he was firm but fair with the troops under him. He was a very effective leader and I was sure that he would go far in the service. I am truly saddened to learn of his death at such a young age. Rest in peace Captain Arrington. |
