Bobby and I were in the same cadet company, F-3, for our last two years at West Point. I didn' know him before then but his reputation preceded him as a ferocious boxer with an all muscle physique shaped like a fire plug and just as solid which lead to the second reputation of being an indomitable Rock Squader who was simply too solid to swim. He obviously eventually overcame that in order to graduate. What I didn't know about Bobby until we became company mates was what a wonderful person he was. It was an honor to know him.
