Very sad, I just heard. I worked with Damon at Siebel, what feels like a million years ago and also just yesterday. He preceded me on the team by a year or so, and he was always the guy that I could go to for help and perspective. He watched out for people. Though one of the toughest places I've ever worked, I remember those years fondly. We were a close team. Sadly we lost touch over the years with family, life and the itinerant nature of tech. But my enduring memory of him was his razor sharp wit, deep intellect, and his unerring sense of integrity. He was as good as they come. I am truly sorry to hear this news. Rest in peace, Damon. |
