| You may not remember my family, but both of my daughters, Lesley and Katie swam at the Y. When the girls left to swim elsewhere, I always missed the wonderful people at the Y; it always felt like family to me. I followed the former Y swimmers whenever I could and remember reading about Dennis when he was at CBA. After reading the obituary in the Press, I see that Dennis became much more than a very good swimmer; he became a fine young man, a faithful son, loyal friend, and exemplary soldier whose willingness to serve this country must be a source of pride for his family. I am deeply sorry for your loss and will pray for Dennis' family and friends who will miss him every day. |
