Be Thou At Peace

| I will try to get thru this. George called me Jonesy and I appreciated it greatly. I was an E-4/G-4 grad of 1969 and was not too close to him at school. But many years later and thru the E-4 Zoom got to know him well. His son lives in St Louis and George never missed the opportunity to visit when he was in town. So after some time, we did share some memorable moments like the E-4 Mini reunion which he was instrumental in getting off the ground, and his presence at the Army-Navy watch party in downtown St Louis. We tried to get Jerry to come but he did not make it. I was privileged to meet his son and family also, whats not to like about an email address with Scud killer in it. His passing has left a hole in my life only to be filled by the fond memories. Grip Hands and farewell to another of the BOTL. Jonesy |
