As a fellow A3'er and buddies at Armor Officer Basic at Fort Knox I remember Dave as a friend and gentleman of top quality. We were Ranger buddies during the 3 phases of Ranger School training at Fort Benning, mountain training at Dalonega, Georgia; and the equally enjoyable phase in the cold swamps of North Florida. Sadly we lost contact as we went onto our active duty assignments and only met for short interludes at a couple of Class of '69 reunions at WP. Dave was great person and I am proud to have been a friend of his and the short time as roomies at WP. May God Bless you Dave and your family. I will see you Dave, when I leave this earthly home and we meet again in our heavenly home! |
