| Gunner and I served together on the Firstie Year summer Beast Barracks Cadre; he was my XO of Fourth Company. He had injured his leg that summer, somehow, so he was excused from some of the activities owing to the cast. However, he enthusiastically did everything he could to assist "behind the scenes," in the barracks, in supervising/training other classmates and the Cow s in the company. He had a great attitude and sense of humor. We became closer that last year as a result. RIP. |
