Don and I shared a room at our West Point candidate testing at Hill AFB, Utah in 1961. As the only members of our class from Utah, we shared many adventures traveling back and forth to Utah on several occasions. We were company mates our last two years in D2 and roommates with Carl Gentine the last semester. We maintained contact through the years. I was able to attend a memorial for Don in Silverton, Oregon, in May 2024. Don was a highly respected dentist and citizen in his community. Unfortunately, he fell to the ravages of Agent Orange to early in a well-lived life. He was a true friend for many decades. |
