Be Thou At Peace

| My timing is bad. Recently, I met a West Point grad (class of 1973). It caused me to remember my Battalion Cmdr (then Captain Semerjiam). CPT Semerliam selected me as his Radio Operator/Driver in 1964. He slowly convinced me to apply for Officer Candidate School (OCS). I was 19 years old! He was persuasive. Today, I am 80 years old, having a successful business career (after a military challenge in Vietnam as a Green Beret Captain. I attribute much of my success to CPT/LTC Semerjian's guidance. May he rest in peace! |
