Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Juliann Elizabeth Quinn Crabtree on May 27, 2025:

Two framed photos of my Uncle Paully donned our home. One of him on the high bar, and a bust shot of him in his greys. He exemplified hard work and honor. My Uncle Paully died at 24 when my Daddy was only 20. I would ask about him, but rarely, because it was a very tender-hearted subject for my Daddy to talk about. He said that Uncle Paully was always studying - even while the others were playing out front, he would bring a book and study on the front steps of their home. Both Uncle Paully and Uncle Johnny made a make-shift airplane and flew and crashed it in a tree in the front yard. My hope is that my Uncle Paully gave his life to Christ, and so I may meet him in Heaven. My Uncle Paully would have just turned 102 if he were still on earth.
