Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Karen carver on August 16, 2025:

My dad Hollis stanford CWO3 served with Colonel Pohl. When he died my dad got his watch and has kept it all these years in his safe. My dad totally intended to return to the family. I guess this was a part of what he did. He could not find the family as this was before internet. My dad died in December 2023 at 90 years old. Today I pulled this watch out of his safe and thought I would try to reach out to family. My name is Karen Carver. Facebook name is Susie carver. Also my dad has the colonial’s name spelled wrong as Pole. Mt dad has 2 watches colonial Pohl’s name attached to one and the other has no name.i know this is a long shot but thought I would try.
