Be Thou At Peace

I have had a truly blessed life, and one of the greatest reasons for that is because I was privileged to have had John as a roommate our Firstie year. He was a devout Christian and routinely tried to share his faith with me even though I paid very little attention to his efforts. But he persisted, and somehow what he said must have sunk in because in less than three years the seeds he planted blossomed into a real and genuine faith in Jesus Christ. Obviously, there were other people who played a part but John was the first one in the process. I haven't seen him in many years, but I look forward to seeing him once again in heaven so I can say thank you, John, for being a faithful friend and a faithful brother in Christ. |
