| Woody was the most determined and disciplined classmate that I met in 47 months of my West Point experience. As Plebes he was determined to master the Rings in gymnastics. He mastered them and went on to be a Corps squad athlete. John was always willing to help a classmate out with the Academic challenges we faced as cadets. In our firstie year, Woody helped me with the Michie stadium design project. I would have never made it through Civil Engineering without his help. I will always remember his kindness and assistance. You are the example of Servant Leadership. Rest in peace and smile because you were this to your soldiers as well. |
