Dave Riggs was an unusual upperclassman. He never harassed the Plebes in his Company. He was a really quiet guy and never bothered the Plebes -- except to coach them in academics. He was a brilliant fellow who wore the Academic Stars on his collars every year. We parted ways after his graduation -- and our paths never crossed again. He served his country and I served mine.
