Jay Dodd and I both came to West Point from Indiana. We stayed occasionally in touch as Cadets though in different Regiments, and even visited back home during leaves. Jay was always a stalwart believer in the Core Values of USMA. Smart, articulate, tough-minded. He went on as an Infantry Officer to the admirable rank of Colonel. And a second career in a top-tier consulting firm afterwards. I am glad to have known Jay as a friend from back home, and sad to see him leave us too early. With a respectful salute: "Be thou at peace, Jay." ST. |
