Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Cj Edwards on May 19, 2026:

Honestly, Dylan was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever known in my life. He was a team player, enjoyed helping other people (extremely selfless) and usually put his needs after the needs of others. He genuinely showed me alot of love and support through several rough periods of my own journey through the trials and tribulations of "cadet life" as we navigated summer training and the academic school year at West Point. He was a member of my CFT Squad at Camp Buckner and I had an absolute blast working with him and being developed with and by him as we all learned and operated alongside each other during summer military training. I got to know him really well that summer and our friendship/relationship remained positive all the way through graduation honestly. He was a very kind person, always treated me like family, and was a very gentle soul. One thing about Dylan that was surprising for me as I got to know him was that he had a great a sense of humor too that went right along with his top notch personality. It broke my heart finding out he had passed away. I love you bro; fly high please.
