| I served with Jeff at MACV Advisory Team 68 in Vietnam from summer of 1970 to 1971. Our CO was a West Point grad, Colonel D. Duncan Joy. He was the S-3, I the S-1. He was a great man to work with, and I was later fortunate enough to visit him on a couple of occasions when I was in Kansas City, and he at Fort Leavenworth. Later, when I was at the Department of State, he made a couple of stops in DC. He died far too young. His family and friends are, I'm sure, deservedly proud of him. |
