Vick and I became close friends during Buckner and afterwards, with numerous visits, phonecalls and emails. We were in the same Ranger School Class. Vic literally MAXED Ranger School. That always inpressed those like me who barely passed. Vic also took the Ohio Professional Engineer exam COLD, and passed. That was also imnpressive. We had a great visit in late May/early June of 2016, visiting Fort Bennign and surrounding area. Vic became an institution for the Class of 69 by playing his special edition of TAPS at the Class Memorial Services. He will be missed greatly. |
