I salute Vic in his passing. To many of the Class, he was the one who played the beautiful version of "Taps" (actually an extended, sound-similar music piece entitled Il Silenzio ("The Silence")) in the West Point Cadet Chapel at our 55th Reunion. As a charter member of my 4um discussion (without percussion) group, he also promised to play Taps at my funeral. He is gone too soon.... Well done, anyway! RIP, Vic, friend and USMA classmate. |
