Be Thou At Peace

| I never met Dennis, but over the last two weeks have been reading what a great man he was and wanted to write a few thoughts. I am stuck by how young he was and how much he accomplished in his very short life. Some people can live well into their 80s and not accomplish as much. I was struck by his big beautifull smile. He must have loved what he was doing, and people must have loved to be around him. A country is only as strong as its military, your son and the soldiers that stand behind him, are the finest men and women in the world. I wanted to let you know how proud I am of your son, how gratefull I am for his service and how badly I feel for his passing. My prayers are with his family and friends. God Bless you all. |
