Be Thou At Peace

Dave is an amazing man. I first met him in French class. The french professor, a Vietnam Veteran who took a great liking to Dave, called him Monster Fresh Eau (eau i think is water in french). My memories of Dave include a man who is loyal, dedicated to the mission, and always gets the tasks done. While I never served with him after we left West Point, I know Dave gave his all---it was evident in all he did to support both West Point and our class. No doubt there are many things that Dave did for others that we'll never know about----he just quietly went out and DID IT!!! Well done Dave, be thou at peace. We know where you are and we know that you have earned your spot there-----save room for us. Thank you for your example as a Soldier, classmate and friend!. TOTL Mark Mark Littel |
