Pete was my best friend in high school. We both lived in Emerson, NJ back then and attended Westwood High School. I last saw Pete in June 1961 when he had a brief pass from West Point. We spent an evening in NYC trying to stay out of trouble - successfully as I remember. Then we lost track of each other. I tried to find him a few times over the years with no luck. A fellow West Point cadet (Bill, an underclassman) reminded me of Pete and pointed me to West-Poinnt.org. 65 years too late. It is no surprise Pete had such a distinguished career. I was sorry to find Pete had passed away. My belated condolences to his many friends and family |
