Toz made an impression on me from the jump. I went into the Second Company sinks early in our Beast Barracks experience and saw this barrel-chested guy doing push-ups. Not regular push-ups. Toz push-ups, with hands placed on benches and arms lowering his chest down to the floor and back up. Four years later, I also saw him on crutches, wearing his parka in the cold, seeing his Army teammates onto the buses headed for the Army - Navy game without him due to his injury. Two images burned into my mind of a guy giving his all for the Big Rabble. Rest in peace, Brother! |
