Be Thou At Peace

Most of you who knew Toz as a young guy remember that he was a very hard hitting cornerback at Army. Being a defensive tackle on his side of the line he hit me very hard batting cleanup on runners I had corralled. The best hard hitting story was on a kickoff aganst UVA. HE AND I tackled thier all conference running back. Henry hit him so hard that he dented his helmet. When we came off the field Coach Cahill said he would put the helmet on his desk to show recruits how hard we hit. In all my time as player and later coach I never saw that happen again. Cracked maybe but not dented.
Henry was also,a respected physician I had the occasion to eat breakfast with the husband of a lady refeered to him for a non healing wound. Henry told the couple that he was not the right goy but spent time with them and connected them with the appropriate people The husband told me how kind and caring toz was to them. Random comment from a random guy means alot.
Fortunately we were able to stay in touch over the years. He was a good friend and teammate.
