To the Britt Family I don't know that I've ever met a man as intelligent and gifted as Ben who managed to be so genuinely humble and modest. I don't think I ever saw him engage in any endeavor (be it the most brutally challenging class at West Point or a pick up game of football on the beaches of Cape Cod) at which he did not excel. His acheivements never came at the expense of anyone, and on the contrary, he usually set aside his time to help others with whatever they needed before attending to his own needs.
