Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Robert Calhelha on December 28, 2005:

Ben would always say "I'm going to go SF." Now by SF, he meant "Stocks and Funds."

I too, had the honor of meeting him at IOBC, where his jokes about SFC Jackson kept us laughing like little girls. He also took it upon himself to become my personal lifting trainer, hence I didn't call him Ben, I just called him 'Coach'. I wouldn't know what a snatch grip was or how to bench "not like a girl scout" if it wasn't for him. For him, helping someone out wasn't given even a thought, it was second nature to him. Part of who he was.

You will be missed man. We learned a lot from you, such as how to laugh and smile, when there is nothing to laugh or smile about.

We'll miss you man.

We'll finish the job.

See you on the high ground. I'm sure you'll have some jokes for us when we meet again.
