Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Michael Robinson on December 28, 2005:
Even though we realize times like these might arrive when we serve in the Military, we still hope that they never happen to us. Mary, David, and the Britt Family; we mourn with you the loss of your son, brother, and grandson, Ben. As we share your loss, we are also filled with pride that Ben would answer the call of Freedom and ultimately give the greatest sacrifice for that freedom.
We have a hope that we shall see Ben again, Our Lord promised in, John 14:1-3, ?Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.? We believe that Ben is even now in one of those Mansions.
The Apostle Paul said it best when he spoke to Timothy. ?I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:? All of this Ben did and now he rests from his endeavors. May the Lord bring His greatest Blessings unto you, Mary and David, until you are again reunited with your son.
