I had the honor of knowing Dennis when he was a very young cadet in a class I taught at USMA. He truly stands out among the many of cadets I encountered (some five years later) as he was a fantastic young man with an unmatched personality whose likableness, magnetism and manner drew people to him. He frequently struck me as the kind of young man one hopes their children turn out to be like. His time here on earth was ridiculously too short, but his character and infectious grin will live on in all who knew him. In short, Dennis Zilinski is clearly one of those people you'll want to spend some time with in heaven. -God speed Dennis, from your new vantage point, please keep your eye out for your fellow Warriors & your family! Know that all those you know you well, & most of us who knew you breifly, look forward to meeting you in a better place. |
