Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Jeff Csoka on January 2, 2006:
It?s been two years now since you were taken from us and unfortunately I?ve learned time does not and will not heal all wounds. The pain of your passing has not eased these last two years; we miss you now as much as ever. Alli and I have a daughter now who we named after you (Ilona Erica) and along with the sorrow we feel at your passing comes the anger that this beautiful girl will never know her uncle. She will never experience his kindness, compassion, or sense of humor. And there will be a piece of her missing as she will never have the memories of time spent with her uncle. She will however, know him through the memories we share, and I at least, am truly grateful for those. We get some measure of peace knowing you are in a better place, and we know you are watching down on us. You were a great son, great brother, and a great friend. Be thou at peace Eric; we love you.
