| Ben was one of my squad-mates at Camp Buckner, and he left such an impression on me that I always looked up to him. His toughness and motivation always made me want to be a better soldier, to try and be more like him. I remember talking to him on rainy days out in the field, and just chatting with him whenever I saw him in the hall at school or later in OBC. I remember especially, at Buckner, making him tell me stories about what being a real cowboy was like. To Ben, you will be forever in my prayers and you will be forever missed. I will hold dear the few moments when our lives came in contact. |
