KJ was my mentor and teacher in the Army Soccer program in 1999. KJ was harder on us than even the coach was and never allowed us to feel content with how well we were doing. The truth is, we were never better than KJ in the net, yet he was always pushing us and urging us in his own way to get to his level. If only we could could all experience someone who would push us as hard as KJ did. Just imagine where we would all be in life! KJ, it was an honor knowing you and learning from you, and I feel like a better man for being your friend. God Bless you and your family, Dave Johnson USMA '03 |
