Dear Family of Major William Fredrick Hecker, My son Captain Carson D. Green (02) is in the 4th ID, so I feel a kinship to you. You are in my prayers, yet that seems so inadequate. My son and your husband and father are on a mission that is important for our country and for the peace that all of us want. You are definitely a part of that mission, and I honor you. As I teach English, I will think of your husband's interest in returning to the teaching of English. May peace come soon, Nancy Green |
