Be Thou At Peace

Posted by brian on February 1, 2006:

Stephen,

When I remember you it won't be the remembrance of death but the fragrance of life. You defined honor, courage and commitment in day to day living-I've never met a more patient man or woman! People like to remember the best of someone when they are no longer here, but we all saw it while you were still among us. A wise Jewish carpenter once said:
"I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds."
Stephen, you left us with more than memories, for me it is the calling to be Christ-like in every day situations. Thank you for that.
