Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Chrissi Cicerelle on February 7, 2006:

Dennis,

Not a day goes by that I don't re-live the moment that I heard the news. I never thought for one second that you wouldn't come home to talk about all of the antics and drudgeries of that place. I'm so proud of you for your sacrifice and for the way you took this deployment head-on, without a second thought. You may have been nervous or scared, but none of us knew it.

I would do anything, give anything, to bring you home safely. I'm so sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you and Marie before you deployed. You of all people are probably most surprised at how much your passing has affected my family and I.

I miss you every day. I pray that you're happy, safe, and, most importantly, watching over Marie and your family. Know that you are always in our thoughts and prayers. We will see you again.

Love always,
Chrissi
