| I first met Bob in Vietnam, when we were with B/326 Engineer, 101st. I was a newly arrived platoon leader, he was the veteran, and newly promoted XO. Bob was always a source of inspiration, a searcher for excellence, a giver of confidence, and all with a much-appreciated sense of humor. An inspiring leader and terrific officer. I accidentally found this web page, and was saddened and shocked to suddenly discover this bad news. My deepest sympathies to his family. Ned Harris, VMI '68. |
