Be Thou At Peace

Posted by linda on April 9, 2006:

Todd, never a day goes by without thoughts of you, how blessed the world was to have had you in it, how blessed the people whose live's you touched so deeply with your committment, loyaly, love, humor, and living of life each day. You are in the hearts of so many who loved you and you always will be. I have a favor to ask now, please find Timmy, be with him, and let him know he is safe now and loved and not alone. Let him know that he can reach out to us as we reach out to him, on through time until everyone is together again.

Todd, I have come to love you through the stories of others who knew and loved you and looking at your picture each day remembering those stories.

Timmy, I love you for all that you are, even now, and always will be, a powerful force of life, love, goodness, joy. Father, husband, son, and a friend beyond measure who understood even without words, emanating strength in concert your gentle spirit and kindness. We have felt you, heard you, seen your presence here with us in many ways over the last week. Thank you for that. Know we are reaching back to you and will be with you always.

Timmy, you know what is is my heart, though I cannot find words for it. You are there together with Todd now, and there is some comfort in knowing you are together. Loving friends who can share sometimes your tears, share a joke in rumbling laughter -- that's what I'll hear now instead of thunder -- the two of you laughing together. Share your thoughts and stories, wonder together, marvel together, stoke up the grill, whatever. And, hopefully, you will share the peace and wonder of the universe as you enrich its majesty with your spirits.
