Be Thou At Peace

this is my uncle jim who died on d-day. he is remembered fondly by my dad george john mcginity (his brother)of west palm beach, florida. he is buried in france and my dad would like his ashes put with jim when he dies. he went to west point and became a major in the army. he died saving others at the lafere, france bridge. he had use a parachute to go into france a day after d-day had started. he was a boxing champion at west point. his parents are francis and genieve mcginity formerly of west palm beach, florida. i pray for them alot. many fond rememberances of my uncle jim from my dad, a letter from his priest and jim's company commander. he received the silver star for his heroics at the bridge in france.
