"Sly" was a remarkable individual. I was fortunate to be in his company and be around him for two years. During that time he served as my squad leader, mentor and friend. Rob was the eptiome of a positive person. He never got down, no matter what was going on in his life. He always had a joke on his lips and a smile on his face. He wasn't above making fun of himself in order to lighten the mood in the group. He made the grind of every day life at West Point tolerable. He was a great friend and a true hero. Know that many of us are praying for him and his family to guide them through these tough times. It is an unfair loss to his family, friends and our Nation. He will be missed. RIP Brother. Sean '05 |
