Robert Augustine Seidel III

Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Josh Jeppesen on May 31, 2006:
What an American Hero. Rob will be missed. I remember after Ripka and Seidel Graduated Ranger School, they had come to my house on their final "tour" together before shipping off to Iraq. We red-necked it while hunting gators and shooting guns all day while dipping our faces off. Ripka and Seidel always fit in with that scene. Later on day 2, we had been hired temporarily to be bouncers for a college party that was held at a bar and they threw around drunks that didn't know any better. You should have scene the smile on his face...hilarious. Seidel could have been a comedian in this life if he wasn't so determined to be an American Patriot. I remember he was so used to sleeping outside after Ranger school that being in the A/C made him uncofortable, so he slept on the hammock outside. True soldier, even in the civilian world...sleeps outside.
He will be loved and missed.
