| Doug and I were both lucky enough to come from NH and be sponsored by the Warnke family at West Point. I've always been proud to know Doug and I believe this world is a lesser place without him. He was trustworthy, loyal, hardworking... and he even convinced me to follow more rules than I wanted (though I did manage to get him to bend a couple here and there). Even though we hadn't kept in close touch the past couple years, it's hard to accept two things: that so dependable a friend is gone and Doug will never be the governor of New Hampshire. |
