I never really knew Rob beyond his name till I came to Iraq. I would go down to 2/22's area to visit my buddy Dave Strickler, and that is where I got to know Rob. I didn't know him as well as some, but I know he is the kind of guy I would have hung out with once we got back to the states, maybe even at home since I am from Camp Hill and the Seidel's are from Gettysburg. I regret that I've lost the chance to have what would have been a great friendship with an all around good man. To Rob's friends and family, I express my deepest sorrow that he is gone.
