Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Sherry on June 20, 2006:

I am grateful to all of you for your eulogies. It helps me to know this brave, special man better, who was my daughter's husband. I have copied every one of them for the scrapbook I am making for Nic and Dak - and it will help keep Doug's spirit alive and strong for son Dak. He will be so proud of his Dad, as we all are. We all claim him as ours - our father, brother, son - all of us owe a great debt to him and all the men who have given so much for our country. He joins the ranks of those we shed tears of gratitude for at every 4th of July, every Memorial Day. God Bless all of you, and the Lord watch over our troops, Nic and Dak, Cathy, Mark, Dan, Larry, Anne ......... God bless us every one and God bless America.
