I served with Phil in the 42nd ID at the division headquarters in Iraq and spoke with him shortly before he was killed. In our last discussion he spoke about his wife and his daughter and how much he missed them both. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He served his country well and died in the defense of freedom. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice Phil- we will never forget. CPT Dan Rice USMA '88 |
