| I was just remembering a retired 1SG who I worked with at the AMEDD Center and School. He was with Don when he was killed and relived the details of Don?s death with me. He said if Donny had been a little shorter, the bullet would have sailed over his head. So sad to think of these great Americans cut down while leading their men fearlessly and heroically from the front. Don would never have ducked a fight. |
