I was also one of Dave's room-mates. I fondly remember him as the "cool" cat taking slow drags on his cigarette while having some of the most engagingly intense conversations about any and all aspects of life. While all of us were bestowed nicknames, he was affectionately known as the "Iceman"--ever calm, controlled, concerned, and considerate. Unfortunately, I lost track of Dave after we graduated and it was a shock to hear of his death. Yet, I am personally gratified that he had a life of great meaning and significance to those he left behind, especially to his children. May God bless his family and friends as we await that great day when the sting of death will be no more. Sincerely, Tom "Nut" Freeman |
