| Regretfully, Emily and I weren't good friends or anything, but we did live together for a semester. During those 4 months when we shared a room, I learned that Emily Perez was a very determined lady with a will of iron. She not only did everything she set her mind to, but she did it well. She juggled Corps Squad Track and Field, Gospel Choir, friends, church every sunday, trip sections, helping classmates and subordinates with their classes, among many other activities, AND achieved super grades in all her classes. Her spirit and enthusiasm for life is definitely a characteristic for anyone to envy. Well done, Emily.... Be thou at peace. |
