I met Emily while she was a student at Oxon Hill High School, Oxon Hill, MD when my son Justin escorted her to their Senior prom. She appeared to be a very focused young lady, and it was so refreshing to meet someone who was eagerly looking forward to West Point and serving her country. Unfortunately, for those who knew and loved her the time we had with her was far too short, but God, in His infinite wisdom, had a different plan for Emily. May it comfort her family to know that others share their sorrow, and may we rejoice in the time she was with us and the memories that will not fade away. "He knows our burdens and our crosses, those things that hurt, our trials and losses; He cares for every soul that cries- God wipes the tears from weeping eyes."
